Piqué, culminating in a match

Gerard Piqué was sanctioned with a match suspension after being sent off in the last league match against Getafe.

The center of FC Barcelona was the second yellow for intercepting the ball with his hand after a cross into the area, an action that was punished with penalty and that led to the goal of Manu Del Moral. Piqué addition, the Turkish gunman Mehmet Topal (Valencia) and Derek Owusu Boateng of Ghana (Getafe) were also suspended one match by the Competition Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Competition, however, has decided to annul arbitral disciplinary reprimand that was the subject Gurpegui (Athletic Club Bilbao). 

The suspended players are: 

One-game suspension for accumulation of cautions: Del Horno (Levante). 

One game suspension for a second yellow and subsequent expulsion: Jon Aurtenetxe (Athletic Club Bilbao), Boateng (Getafe) , Pique (Barcelona). 

A-game suspension for direct removal: Topal (Valencia).
