Agencies bid for Barca

FC Barcelona has opened a tender to award the new contract as the official travel agency of the club, which it had been playing the Reial Automobile Club de Catalunya (RACC) for the past ten years and whose contractual relationship with the entity concludes Blaugrana December 31. After discarding the possibility of creating own travel agency as president Sandro Rosell announced during the election campaign, the club has finally decided to maintain the 'status quo' ruling and open a bidding war between all agencies want to run for it. The club has received multiple offers and have already transcended five contenders, among which is also the RACC. The other four are Viajes El Corte Ingles, Carlson, American Express and Falcon Travel. The deadline for bids to reach the club expires next Wednesday, 1 December, and from that moment on, the board will be decided which alternative is best suited to the economic interests of the entity. Barça seeks to highlight the winning bidder early next year and while all are drafted and signed the new contract terms, will begin to work with the most interesting. The club has not made public to date, the duration of a contract that will mean that several employees of the travel agency Barca installed in the offices of the club.
