Pep Guardiola: "We have reunited with many things"

Pep Guardiola believes his team playing against Sevilla better than in other league matches, despite the win, noting that the Catalan side has always had a good tone "

Guardiola does not believe that the club needed a game like that gelled against Sevilla, which swept the field and smashed with a 5-0 rival. "Excepto el día del Hércules, que nos encallamos, siempre hemos jugado muy bien. El tono del equipo siempre ha sido bueno", subrayó. "Except for the days of Hercules, we beached, we have always played well. The tone of the team has always been good," he said.

Para Guardiola, la clave del partido fue que el Barça se reencontró con mecanismos desde el primer minuto que posibilitaron que el juego fuese frenético. He noted that it was changed to Puyol with a yellow.

"Luka Modric, Barca as a replacement for Cesc?

Luca Modric can be one of Barca's goals for the next season. At least that's what you think the British press that point as Tottenham midfielder Cesc Fabregas a possible replacement for

According to public on Sunday the 'Daily Mail', the Catalan club could be starting to believe that Arsene Wenger is right to say that the Arsenal captain is willing to stay in the UAE in the coming years, so it would have already started to look alternatives on the market. The one would have satisfied the coach of Barca at the moment would be the option to Modric, who has been linked to the company Barca a couple of years.

According to English newspaper, FC Barcelona would be willing to pay 40 million euros for the Croatian player, who came to the Spurs for half price. An offer that could tempt the English club officials, who initially have no intention on getting lost midfielder.

Goran Vucevic, another 'ex' on the bench Barca

The former Barcelona player Goran Vucevic lead with Zlatko Vujovic at Hajduk Split, one of the top teams in the Croatian first division

Arrived in Barcelona as one of the most promising players Balkan, but injuries and his character made him one of the less successful signings of the era of Cruyff. Years later, Goran Vucevic luck now tested on the bench for Hajduk Split, which itself won as a player. This was announced on the homepage of the club Petroslav Sapunar, a director of the Croatian team, "Vujovic Vucevic and join the team tomorrow. They're in the club know the situation and believe they will do their homework. "

The 'ex' Barca, therefore, accompanied by Zlatko Vujovic, former footballer of the French League, relieved at his post just Poklepovic Stanko stopped in order to achieve the league title. And now the Hajduk is in the second position in the table in the Championship of Croatia to four points behind his main rival, Dinamo Zagreb.

Fighting-Cristiano Ronaldo Messi moved to Catalan politics

The secretary general of ERC, Joan Ridao, recommended that the leader of CiU, Artur Mas, who has "the modesty of Messi and not the arrogance of Ronaldo"

Joan Ridao considered Artur Mas missed the truth when he said the government had abandoned Catalan municipalities in recent years and recommended to have "the modesty of Messi and Ronaldo's not arrogance." After visiting the Hall of Manga, political independence has maintained that although the electoral campaign "many things are permitted, you can not cross the line, and truthfully."

In this regard, he recalled that the current government of Catalonia has "tripled the Local Cooperation Fund, from an endowment of 62 million euros in 2003 to 160 million in 2010, while increased "43 percent the Single Plan for Works and Services of Catalonia." Regarding the appeal by the PP in the issue of Catalan, Joan Ridao believes that "there is a judicial offensive against the Catalan" because "the PP and Catalonia use Catalan to get votes in Spain, but now we are facing a real atrocity toga dress policy that has its origins in the Constitutional Court. "

In his view, the Catalan political parties should take "a commitment to strictly enforce the Linguistic Policy Act and all that the statute says about the language."

Messi: “It’s been a good week”

www.fcbarcelona.cat

Messi missed the trip to Ceuta in midweek and he stressed the importance of a week of training at the Ciutat Esportiva for a number of the senior players.

“it’s been a good week for working out and recovering our physical fitness”, he explained to the Barça TV programme” El Marcador”, after the game against Seville.

Messi was also happy with the way that the team had got through the week and indeed for their progress so far this season: “we’re relaxed about things because we are just continuing to do what we have done to win all the titles we have”. Messi showed his optimism about the rest of the season too: “I think we’ll improve as the season goes on”.

Early goal important

2010-10-30_PARTIDO_40.JPGMessi opened the scoring against Seville, but he believes that : “scoring that early goal was lucky for us - fortunately my shot went between the defender’s legs -because it settled our nerves, which didn’t happen in the other games”. As for his second goal, he explained: “Alves drew my marker off and that meant I could go through and get a shot in easily.

Valencia was key win

Messi believes that the fightback against Valencia could prove to be the turning point for the season: “that win against Valencia really gave us a lot of strength” and the truth is that since that game the team have chalked up five straight wins.

Xavi: “I felt nearly 100%”

Anna Segura

Speaking after training this morning, Xavi explained that he’d come off against Seville feeling: “very happy” with his tendons and with a tough November ahead, that he was: “optimistic about taking part in every game”.

After missing the games against Zaragoza and Ceuta, Xavi was back in the starting line up against Seville and reckons: “I felt fine – I was very happy”, and even believes he could have got through the whole 90 minutes if needed.

2010-10-30_PARTIDO_01.JPGAlthough he admitted there is still some pain in his ankle, after the win over Seville the World Cup winner insisted: “I felt nearly 100% and I hope to be available for every game – we’ll have to see how the injury progresses”.

“We needed a game like that”
2010-10-31_ENTRENO_88.JPGXavi was also well aware of what the big win can do for team spirit and the fans’ view of the team: “we needed a game like that at home – we saw the Barça that everybody wants”. Dismissing the doubts that surrounded the team at the start of the campaign, Xavi was adamant: “we are at a very high level, just like we were in other seasons. The only difference has been that we haven’t had a result like this so far, we have tended to go for the result rather than the performance”.

Copenhagen
2010-10-31_ENTRENO_76.JPGThe squad fly off to Copenhagen on Monday and Xavi is well aware that a win on Tuesday could virtually ensure classification. “that would mean we could rest some players , but it won’t be easy to beat Copenhagen”.

FIFA award
Xavi is one of the favourites for the FIFA Balon D’or award and although he accepted: “it’s an honour to be nominated”, he insisted” the best player now and over the last few years has been Leo Messi . He’s a level above the rest of us”.

Milito in squad for Danish trip

www.fcbarcelona.cat

Guardiola can count on Milito for Tuesday’s game against Copenhagen after the Argentinean was given the medical okay to play this morning. The squad to travel to Denmark will be made up of 19 players, 17 from the first team and Thiago and Miño.

The players who featured in last night’s win over Seville had a gentle training session this morning, as the focus switched from La Liga to Champions League action and the trip to Copenhagen on Monday for Tuesday’s game.

With Milito, but without Pinto
2010-10-31_ENTRENO_52.JPGMilito was finally not used for the Seville game, but he is finally back from the injury he picked up in training on October 18th and will be making the trip alongside B team keeper who comes in for the suspended Pinto, Thiago and the other 16 available first team squad members. Jeffren is the only absentee for Guardiola aims to take a decisive step towards classification with a win in the Danish capital.

Planas, Víctor Vázquez, Ilie, Riverola, Oier and Thiago from Barça B also joined in the session.

Villa: “the goals are for the fans”

www.fcbarcelona.cat

David Villa bagged two lovely goals in the five nil win over Seville tonight and put an end to his mini goal drought in front of the fans who’ve never stopped supporting him.

Villa scored the second and fifth goals and after the game he admitted to being “happy” with the win, insisting that Guardiola and his teammates “have always given me their support”, whilst stressing: “if we are winning, I’m fine, tonight I scored two goals, but next week maybe I’ll contribute something else”.

Left-footed
2010-10-30_PARTIDO_03.JPGVilla reckoned: “Seville are a tough team to play, but we came out very strong. With the sending off of Konko, the game was virtually over”. Villa scored both of his goals with his left foot, but explained: “that’s nothing strange –it’s my weaker foot, but I’ve always scored with it too”.

Hometown support
The Spanish striker also commented on the supporters who’d travelled to see the game from his home town of Tuilla in Asturias: “the goals were for all the Nou Camp fans and for all the people from my home town who’d come to see me. They travelled a long way and I’m very grateful to them. I hope that they take advantage of the holiday weekend to visit the city – I’m sure they’ll love it”.

Below are some of the other players’ post-match comments:

19-2 in la Liga

Roger Bogunyà

Under Josep Guardiola, Barça have made a habit of big scores against Seville, having chalked up 19 goals in the five La Liga games between them since Pep took over, with just two goals conceded.

Guardiola seems to know just how to play Seville and his team have posted a big score in all but one of the league games he’s taken them into, as well as keeping a clean sheet in four of the games. Below are the details of those wins:

29 November 2008 (0-3): The team began a run of tough games with a clear win at the Sanchez Pijuan thanks to goals from Eto’o and Messi (2) that allowed them to stretch their lead at the top of the table.

22 April 2009 (4-0): Another big score-one of many that season- as the campaign drew to an end. Javi Varas was again in goals for Seville and Messi missed the game with Iniesta, Eto’o, Xavi and Henry on target.

16 January 2010 (4-0): Just three days after the Andalucian team had knocked Barça out of the Cup, Guardiola’s men recorded another four goal thrashing, thanks to an Escude own goal, two from Messi and one more from Pedro.

2010-05-08_PARTIDO_05.JPG8 May 2010 (2-3): The only time Seville have managed to beat Valdes in the last three years of league games. With both teams needing the win as the season reached its climax, Barça raced to a 0-3 lead thanks to goals from Messi, Bojan and Pedro before their hosts put on a mini fightback that proved to be not quite enough.

30 October 2010 (5-0): It looked like the game was set for yet another 4-0 result before Villa popped up for his second of the game right on full time to make it five in a match in which Barça had produced some of their best football of the season.

Barca 1x1

Valdés 7 Atento. He had little work to a Sevilla who put him in little trouble. Resolved unadorned and always supported the defense that his teammates needed to oxygenate the game. Placid and goal game scoreless.

Alves 7 Plug. He spent 90 minutes playing end. He took that tight little on defense and showed his craftiness to take an assignment of Poles Romaric to make 0-3. He apologized and did not celebrate.

Piqué 7 Tactical. He played central defense and almost glued to the band's attack. It treats all tactical changes to perfection and always offers the team what it needs at all times. Has no roof and much travel.

Puyol 7 Reference. Was always the last man in charge of closing the defense and keep their backs on their colleagues, focused on the goal of Seville. Ordered, commanded, and life became more complicated recently. Pep changed it to rest.

Abidal 7 Unseen. With Alves Sevilla attacking and defending, the French had little role. It helped when he could up the band and stood on the side enjoying the festival offensive Pep Guardiola.

Busquets 7 generations. In the effort, in the robbery, as tactician, in creation. At all. In all born Busquets. The Badia always takes the best decision and runs faster and painful for the opponent. Their presence in the team is vital.

Xavi 7 Essential. Is of the same race as Messi, those players who are always needed. From the plot, shapes everything that happens around them, turning the boat in a product designed close to perfection.

Iniesta 7 Minimalist. Few details, but of extreme quality. Simple shapes and giant in the result. Andrew has so much to see him play football is always to ensure an outbreak of beauty. Barca is better with him.

Pedro 7 Effective. An honest player in everything he does, that it always satisfies the role entrusted to it, either in one or another band. One of its actions caused the second yellow Konko, who ended up expelled.

Messi Happy 9. He started the game and scored. Nothing makes him happier than the game and for him, the logical consequence: the goal. Free direct, Pep has grown by removing duties. Their sole mission, playing as you know. Began 0-2 and made the 0-4.

Villa 9 Relieved. No more playing the first ball he was more comfortable than at other times. With their traditional family nearby, Villa played their best game, scored twice and exorcised all ghosts. First doubles as Blaugrana.

Mascherano 6 trailer. Your input is not subtracted one iota of effectiveness and robustness of football shown so far.

Bojan 6 Intense. Sought to create danger without showing any hint of obsession for the goal. Will come.

Adriano Thanked 6. Every minute he plays for Barca enjoy intensely. Yesterday was no exception.

Eleven hours of travel and a gift beyond price

The caravan of 'Guaje' was distributed by the south goal Tuilla CD with scarves and flags of Asturias and only took 23 minutes to celebrate the goal for Villa

In 23 minutes, David Villa up for eleven hours of road trip that his countrymen Tuilla be put under his belt to see him dress for the first time at the Camp Nou Barça. Just started the game, it became clear that the effort was worthwhile. And 23 minutes later, the 'Guaje' cut Luna, emerged and struck with his left, to the top Javi Varas, a goal in the goal of the south goal, precisely where the party saw their club members.

Were all. Veterans, kids, friends of children, parents and sisters of David, Elsa, and Aida, the most Catalans, who prefer the Sporting or Oviedo, united by their admiration for Villa, which was Barca Guaje with the support of their club from the second tier of the south goal of Camp Nou. Interestingly, only missed the banner to identify them, and a logistics issue, it was expected that the 50 civilians from David Villa who traveled all night from Tuilla travel from your hotel to the Nou Camp on the bus that brought in Asturias, but Traffic laws prevented it: after a long journey, the vehicle must remain stopped nine hours (tachograph records all movements), and the banner was left on the bus. In turn, Asturias flags and scarves Tuilla CD.

What could not be in Sporting's visit because the game was played during the week and the trip was impossible, became a reality at the Seville. The 'caravan Villa' was launched and the Asturian striker returned to find the net. His parents had visited the Nou Camp on the Gamper and Villa, that day, scored his first goal as Barça. Some might claim Mel and Dorita sitting in the stands of the stadium every game, but it will tear them from Tuilla. They have lives. Members of their club spent the day relaxing and sightseeing in the city. Like a football team they were, gathered to eat at a restaurant on the Diagonal. The most illustrious members of the expedition, the parents of David, not even left the group because they were the daughters of 'Guaje', Olaya and Zaida, with his mother, Patricia, which came to visit members rock.

The trip was long, but fun. A few hours before leaving Tuilla, compared with Carly confectionery, home of the rock, Jose Mourinho had launched one of his darts against Villa (some have cost more money than Benzema and not anyone scores a goal, "said ), but the caravan of Guaje not even spent one minute to the words of Portugal. "It's not worth it. You know how we are to Tuilla, we have fun without being aware of those things, "said Angel, a friend of David, devoted culé, like most of the caravan: the club and the team Tiulla.

Barca as currency ... in medical

Eminence in AIDS research, Dr. Clotet is also a self-confessed Barcelona

One of the most important photographs in the history of FC Barcelona, which took the three-time champions in 1910 in a study of Barcelona, has long held a touching story. The image, in the possession of Dr. Bonaventura Clotet Sala (Barcelona, 1953), Head of HIV Unit, Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol and one of the greatest eminence in research on AIDS, was left by his mother, who in turn had inherited from his father, the grandfather of Dr. Clotet, Bonaventura also named.

"I come from a long line of doctors. My grandfather was a neurologist and was always involved in medicine and in Catalan, one of the organizers of the First Congress of Physicians in lenguna Catalan. It was then, we're talking about 1913, when a patient, in gratitude for his treatment and to solve their problems, gave this picture, "recalls Dr. Clotet. It can be said that the club was currency ...

He did not know i Massià Buenaventura Clotet, his grandfather, but the authoritative voice in internal medicine and infectious diseases said that "my mother wanted the keep me and always has been in the family album, and from time to time, we saw and we remembered much of the grandfather. Barcelona came to Dr. Clotet family. "I have the genome blaugrana since childhood, introduced by my grandfather and my father especially." His family consists of four, but only two, his wife and son have their card. "We are going to take turns going to the field," he says, pointing out that were discharged "for over thirty years." His sons, Marc and Aina, are actors and have excelled recently for his work on the series 'Physics and Chemistry' (him) and in the movies 'Elisa K' and 'gender female' (it).

The earliest recollections he has of FC Barcelona will talk about "Ramallets, Gensana, Segarra, Kubala ... I never memorized any alignment, but I do come to mind such legendary names." What is not forgotten is a goal that, in their view, deserved more praise and glorification. Refers to "the marking Ronaldinho Werder Bremen at the Nou Camp in a Champions League match, lack, beating the German barrier under and not above. The truth is that the Brazilian Lo Curro. "

A Bonaventura Clotet would like to know the current coach of FC Barcelona, Pep Guardiola, who has been told he shared platform in a ceremony at the Central University with Pons Bonaventura, the movie director, but do not remember. "For a long time," he argues. Santpedor Technician highlights everything that makes "for language standardization and the fact that" players like Messi and others, for example, finished their speeches to the crowd with a 'Visca el Barça Visca Catalunya! " It's brutal. Indicates that assume the differential fact of coming in this club. They know there's something else ... okay. "

Following Guardiola, admits that "in class than Mourinho, who always clings to the psychological warfare and a histrionic manner. Is a character that fits more in the philosophy Madrid. Here we prefer the 'seny' civilized attitudes and correct and that cultivates friendly as Pep Guardiola. "Admits Dr. Clotet has had three lots in life:" Living as a doctor the start of an epidemic like AIDS and contribute to research that now people no longer die as before, to live as a magical year Barcelona as it was in 2009 and have a wonderful family. "

Messi: "We have seen that we remain a great team"

Leo Messi celebrated his two goals but like the rest of the team was happy for the doublet Villa

Leo Messi estavba happy for his two goals but also for those of David Villa and the triumph of Barça. "From the beginning we played a great game with great intensity," said the Argentine, who made clear that within the dressing room there was never doubt about the performance. "We were doing things right, winning is what matters . And we have again shown that we are still a great team, "he said.

About attacks coming from certain areas outside the team, Messi said "we know we must be strong and ignore what comes out." Finally, Leo, that as very positive to have had a whole week to prepare for the match, also referred to the recent remarks of Jose Mourinho: "We should not casually, he is always looking to get into the game but we have to remain indifferent. "Peter also was pleased with two goals from Villa:" For him it was important to mark and we all are glad that has been. " Of course, the nose has been released yet in the league "but it will come. Anxiety? In all, all the forwards we like to score and it will come. " The Tenerife was pleased the team's play "Our intention is to repeat this level in all fixtures in November."

Gerard Pique was also very satisfied with two goals from Villa "but none of us doubted that he would make." He acknowledged that the party "was very full during the ninety minutes" and it is clear "that the League until the Classic will be the same." Iniesta was also happy for the goals "of Villa, which for him were very important." This is not to give warnings to anyone with five goals, we could play more quietly. The team will improve with the passage of the parties and think we are in the right line. "

Messi scored his third consecutive double

The crack, which yesterday pushed, struggled, recovered fumbles and scored twice, kept in a special state of grace

Leo Messi is already a legend, but wants to expand its own history. Pep Guardiola said during the pre-party for the team was a "blessing" depend on the Argentine. Yesterday, the club was far from suffering 'messidependencia', but the crack staged one of the most complete games you remember. And the best player in the world, won his third consecutive double-fourth of the season, is a blessed state of grace.

The star has as many goals as Barca have played games this season, 13. But beyond their ongoing love affair with the ball and his accuracy in front of goal, Messi gave a real lesson in humility. When the ball was in possession of the Sevilla defense, Leo dropped the veil of crack and was the first to fight for every ball and start the pressure from the first phase, an effort that in many cases allowed Barca to regain possession. In fact, Rosario was one of the players who got more balls back over every encounter, giving a quite far from the stale and arrogant individualism of other players. On the other hand, as was the Catalans who led the ball approached the goal from Javi Varas, again converted and became a lethal predator.

Yesterday I did not take long to prove that Leo is several steps above the rest. Many fans still had not reached their villages, when Barca took advantage of a rejection of andalud goalkeeper to open the scoring at minute 4. Then it became clear it would be one of those games that seem custom-made player, in which Argentina is recreated, engage with their peers and feel comfortable. Messi was active during the 90 minutes he was on the playing field. Guardiola might have substituted for the crack received a standing ovation from the Camp Nou, but the coach knows better than anyone that the best ovation for Leo is to let him spoil the ball on the ground. And the striker thanked him starring in the stellar play of the game. Messi back in the middle of the field and started one of those races will bias around the world. Leo left behind all their supporters and accompanied the ball and placed a gentle final touch was delirious back to Camp Nou on 63 minutes.

But even with two goals in their particular box and a landslide victory for his team Messi was happy and kept fighting for every ball that came near him, knowing that yesterday's opponent, Sevilla, is the main victim, as they has scored 13 goals in official matches. The Argentine genius has some spectacular numbers this season. He has scored 13 goals, with a goal per game average. Furthermore, it has become a specialist to open the scoring, as it has always been the first team to score. The striker is poised to sign new unbreakable record. With two goals from yesterday the player adds three consecutive doubles after his goal against Copenhagen in the Champions League and Real Zaragoza in La Liga. But on the first day of the group stage of European competition, against Panathinaikos, had two goals materialized. Once again, Leo goes on and on ...

Manita eleven gala

Barca took his entire arsenal against Sevilla and Barça team responded with the best game and the result so far of season

Guardiola or clothing or the rest of them like to talk about or alternates. The message out of doors is unanimous in favor of the whole and the contribution of each and every one of the players. However, no one is aware that there is a concrete block, defined and composed of eleven players who make a difference. That eleven marveled last night against Sevilla. The same team this season rolled with comeback covered, at Panathinaikos in Champions League match.

For the first time so far this season, Guardiola repeated starting lineup. The team lined up against Sevilla input was the same unmitigated defeated Panathinaikos in the European showpiece. And he did it in style, without giving a single option to the rival. Barca swept. Santpedor The rotations forgot, or dosage adjustments. Valdes is unalterable, Alves and Abidal are masters of both sides and as Puyol Piqué have proven to be the most reliable partner. Finally, after injuries and physical problems of all kinds, Busquets accompanied the 'small estate'. It is the magic triangle on which the concert tour playing a team that needs the ball and imagination to enable spaces are only Xavi and Iniesta. At the tip of attack is nothing to discuss. Pedro, Villa and Messi are untouchable if they are well. And who doubts that Sevilla were wondering.

The changes are necessary and recover the wardrobe of Barca is vital to complete the season. However, in the great moments, before capital difficulties, the boat has eleven names. Panathinaikos and Sevilla bear this out.

Villa gave the fans their golazo

The striker broke his slump with a goal mark of the house and returning to the stands held the affection that you show in every game

Who knows if it were the words of José Mourinho and the presence of family and friends in the stands. Perhaps the rival Sevilla, which has already scored 11 goals in 14 league. Or simply, a return to normal. David Villa has always lived with the goal and it was strange to see him smashing balls in the sticks and lamenting his bad luck. The fact is that the 'Guaje' was again the usual, the World Cup top scorer, striker who fell in love with the coaching staff of Pep Guardiola. The day that the club was again the club, Villa returned to Villa with a goal to be the house brand: Moon cut inward at the top right corner of Sevilla and hit open with the left leg, the trajectory ball curved away from the hands of Javi Varas.

The goalkeeper was stretched even more aesthetic goal. Villa did not mark from the match against Rubin Kazan, when he scored a penalty, and celebrated with the intensity demanded by big moments and dedicated it to the stadium and quickly embraced by all his teammates, who surrounded him in a pineapple very significant: attacks against Mourinho and the doubts of some, the team exemplified in the grass his confidence in Villa's scoring ability. Has already scored 143 goals since making his debut in first division with Zaragoza. The Nou Camp awarded him a new standing ovation and chanted his name. At a stroke, his goal away all the ghosts ended their poor run of face-to-door and practically said, at last, a quiet game in the Nou Camp, was far ahead, but the public sigh of relief and went on to enjoy after the beginning of the course a bit complicated for the 'gent Blaugrana' in home games.

That was, the audience enjoyed a full night and Villa took care to close the party. In the last play of the game, rushing off time, the Spaniard striker chased a ball in front and struck again with his left foot, his leg less good, this time raseado, making useless again stretched Javi Varas. In a match, Villa scored as many goals as he did in the entire league with Barça had scored in the opening round against Racing and against Sporting, but was uncovered at Sevilla, signing his first double as Barça, closing debates about its adaptation to the team and earning a sweet hangover party with his family, who saw him live in full from the stands of Camp Nou.

Had been a month and a day since his last goal in the field of Rubin Kazan and penalties. During that time, Villa had some rough times, knowing that if a striker does not mark, rumors soar. His two goals against Sevilla will serve to remove a load off and by the way, delete the word anxiety culé environment for several weeks. On the horizon, I expect Barca very involved parties, especially the end of November before the Madrid event, a particular motivate Villa: for Barca, is excellent news that the 'Guaje' regain his scoring to tackle a demanding months. Villa returned to acting in the whole front of attack, but thanks to the free movement of Leo Messi, could take over much of the first time the position of 'nine'. From there came his first goal. Then fell back to side, but Bojan entry will relocate back to the point of attack, curiously, this position also helped him find the net again, and in added time.

Barcelona 5-0 Sevilla

Perfect Performance (5-0)

Barça treated the fans to a fantastic performance at the Nou Camp tonight, hitting five past Seville with two goals apiece from Messi and Villa and one from Alves to chalk up their fifth win on the trot.
This was the best Barça of the season so far as they handed out a footballing master class to Seville, who found themselves one down after just four minutes and going in at one goal and one man down at the break after Konko had seen red on the stroke of half time. With Madrid also winning at Hercules, Barca stay second, a point behind the leaders.

Focus and intensity from the off
It couldn’t have been a better start for Barça who came out of the blocks at pace - Xavi had a shot go just past the post within 55 seconds of the kick off – and Messi had them one up within four minutes. Although Seville tried to get into the game, Barça were keeping possession and getting it back quickly when it was lost as they played with complete focus and intensity from the off.

Villa beauty
Back after his two game absence, Xavi was leading the team with his trademark passing and control, wearing the opposition down with their possession and making a hatful of chances. Villa finished off a lovely move set up by Messi on 24 minutes with a beautiful shot that curled past the keeper to make it two. Seville were now well and truly under the cosh – a situation not helped by the second yellow Konko picked up on 45 minutes after he was forced to bring down Pedro as he bore down on Varas’ goal.

Alves makes it three
Manzano was forced to shuffle his defence at half time, with Dabo and Zokora coming on for Perotti and Luis Fabiano as the Seville boss aimed for damage limitation. Unfortunately for him, ex-Seville man Dani Alves was alert to a poor back pass from Romaric on 52 minutes and whacked the ball past the keeper for a third goal which he refused to celebrate out of respect for his ex-team.

More Messi, more Villa
There was still another 40 minutes to go though and the Barça players - especially Leo Messi -were hungry for more. Just past the hour mark, the Argentinean won a ball in the middle and raced through to the edge of the box to hit the ball low past the keeper. At four nil up, Guardiola decided to bring off Xavi, Pedro and Puyol ahead of next week’s Champions League game.

The Nou Camp crowd was really loving it now, with a massive Mexican wave lapping the stadium and the team responded with one more goal as Villa picked up a pass from Busquets to fire home for his second to round off a great performance from Guardiola’s team, who looked to be back at their very best.

Rosell: “team and fans deserve a 10”

Club President Sandro Rosell praised the Nou Camp crowd at the game tonight, claiming their great support was a real factor in the team’s performance.

Following the convincing win over Seville, Sandro Rosell was quick to praise the attitude of the Nou Camp fans who filled the stadium despite this being a holiday weekend in Catalonia.

Fans inspire the team
2010-10-30_FCB_-_SEVILLA_FC_001.jpgAccording to the Club President: “the team and the fans deserve a 10. The fans got behind the team even more than they normally do and that really helps the team to work well. The team inspires the fans and the fans inspire the team!”

“Pep was right about Villa”
This was David Villa’s night as he put to bed any doubts about his goal scoring with two great strikes and the President insisted that Pep Guardiola was right this week when he assured the fans that Villa would soon be back amongst the goals.

Tough month ahead
2010-10-30_FCB-SEVILLA_-_LLOTJA-13.JPGThere’s a tough November ahead of the team, with some big games, including the visit of Real Madrid, but Sr Rosell made it clear that: “Barça have this kind of pressure all year round. We have to focus on ourselves move forward, keep on winning and piling up the points”.

Copenhagen
Barça’s next test is the game in Copenhagen in midweek and the President commented: “it won’t be an easy game, but we are confident. The team is fitter – it’s working better and improving. A good result in Denmark will give us peace of mind about classifying for the next round”.

The image of Barcelona-Sevilla

Machine has become

The club has become better. If that ever was. After a few weeks of shooting, after enduring the recaditos of the Portuguese, after attending rather little doubt justified, the Pep Guardiola returned to shine, dazzle again. Messi and Villa scored in pairs.

The victim was Gregorio Manzano Sevilla, a team rundown of late but with sufficient grounds to surprise anyone. Instead, they surprised everyone this time it was Pedro Guardiola aligning the left and Villa on the right and leaving the center the trio Messi, Iniesta and Xavi, recovered from his troubles.

With this approach and concentration Barca left plugged in, biting like a long time not seen, drowning a Sevilla barely saw the ball. Xavi told in the first minute and two later, Messi, still in spate, he took a hint from a hat and decided a scramble in the area to open the can (1-0, 3 ').

Despite the goal, Barca was the same, true to form but more greased. Xavi Busquets Iniesta managed to sweep. Pedro showed sharp and, in another lesson Guardiola tactics, restrained correctly to Perotti, the most dangerous of Sevilla. Luis Fabiano showed only one day was a great striker but his shot was crossed.

In the Villa penalty area continued his efforts to end his slump. First he tried a bicycle and shot that stopped Varas. It was the prelude to another great goal: cut from the right and definition of teacher left the '9 'by placing the ball at the far post, beyond the reach of the Sevilla goal (2-0, 23'). The second is the Spaniard took the thorn out with a goal of pure talent. Four parties had fought with Villa League goal pursued by the club, holding reviews. The debate is over. Benzema Mourinho should compare with another. The broken left the Sevilla goal. Manzano suffered the horrors to come to the area of Valdés. Capel just got on the only occasion that the Barca goal was to teach hands. The defense and the attack was ordered fine and recovering fine balls with ease. Xavi finished off a close after another inmate Pedro, Villa were encouraged to try again and Puyol scored for some head to limit the break.

The machine was oiled and rolled to a Seville, without Palop and Navas, was reduced to a lesser team. The sample was Konko impotence in four minutes earned the paths yellow dis untimely fouls FC Barcelona players. With 2-0 and the depleted Sevilla finished a perfect first half of Barca.

ALVES, MESSI AND TOPS THE VILLA SEVILLA

The second part was a monologue of Barca, sometimes liking it, sometimes rotating players, sometimes waiting for the final whistle. Fabiano Sevilla and Perotti stripped and put Dabo and Zokora to try to reduce the disaster. But Alves took out the character Barça, caught a ball after transfer of Romaric reckless to Varas and stretching the leg, marked the third (3-0, 52 '). Alves, former Sevilla, not celebrated. The one who held him and was pleased with the fourth Leo Messi. The Argentine took the ball near midfield, drove like a racing car to the front and crossed with his left foot away from gold Varas (4-0, 63 '). More than 80,000 spectators who were at Camp Nou last night rose to feverish yet another masterpiece of crack Blaugrana.

Villa tried to unite the party in 79 '. The Spaniard did everything right. Clear, Messi's pass into space, cut Villa goalkeeper and shot into the empty net but was saved by the providential Dabo fifth. Guaje a mirage because the front is such that whatever happens, whether or not run, never tires trying ... and score. To limit the time the Spaniard stood in the front and crossed with another shot, again beating Varas (5-0, 90 '). The mannitol did justice to a party that had only one player, Barca, Blaugrana machine, with Messi and Villa as spearheads, again demonstrated that when a machine is oiled to football.

Match Preview: FC Barcelona vs Sevilla FC

Match Preview: FC Barcelona vs Sevilla FC
Barcelona has come up as winners in the last few matches, but will they be victorious again for today’s match? Find out what we think after the jump.

It is the fall season in Barcelona, where sunny climate intertwine with cold showers. Lately the team has won their last four matches and also winning at home. Morale is high at the dressing room although there has been some strange news emanating from the press such as the possibility of our beloved head coach Guardiola to become Ferguson’s successor.

Xavi and Milito are already training with the team and this can only be good news for Barca. Xavi has been featuring very little since the match in Camp Nou against Copenhagen, October 20, and the return of the engine will mean that our attack rhythm will become better and more precise. Same old story for David Villa still goes, where he provided off the ball movements and assists, but his predatory instinct is yet to come. His teammates are encouraging him and saying that today’s match might be his match.

Sevilla themselves may find that they are not favorites in this match because of their erratic form that sees them beating sides like Atletico Madrid but losing to minnows such as Sporting Gijon.
They are even a goal away from squandering a 4-0 lead in their last match against Athletic Bilbao, in which the final score is 4-3. This lapses of concentration in defense and midfield may be exploited by Barcelona tonight, but Barca also have to be wary of their strikers who are more than capable of scoring some goals.

Team News

FC Barcelona
With Xavi and Milito back from training, it seems that Mascherano and Keita will start from the bench as Guardiola opts to field his best eleven tonight. Jeffren is the only notable player that is missing from the squad, as the injury he took in Ceuta may prevent him to take part in Barcelona side for one month.

Predicted Starting XI: Valdes-Puyol-Pique-Alves-Abidal-Busquets-Xavi-Iniesta-Pedro-Villa-Messi.

Sevilla

Jesus Navas, Andres Palop, and Fernando Navarro are unavailable for Gregorio Manzano for several reasons. But they will still have Kanoute, Luis Fabiano, and Perotti to wreak havoc in the counter attack. Martin Caceres, who is currently on loan from Barcelona, will also be available to play.

Predicted Starting XI: Varas-Konko-Dabo-Escude-Caceres-Alfaro-Renato-Romaric-Perotti-Fabiano-Kanoute

Prediction
Sevilla will field a 4-4-2 that is wide so they will try to contain Barcelona and try to prevent any dangerous ball to the penalty area. This kind of match is familiar to Barcelona and Cules, but we may see a surprise from Manzano where he will instruct Sevilla to take the initiative, not unlike Valencia a couple weeks ago.

Pedro will be an inverted winger on the right, and so is Villa from the left, and Messi will play a free role center forward in the middle. There will be chances early on from Barcelona and if they score, Sevilla is under more pressure and we should be able to finish them off in the second half. Let’s hope that the weather is nice for football tonight and the boys are able to win this game and let Real Madrid prove themselves whether they are consistent enough to sit as La Liga leaders.

But within a week I was already out, "he said.

"If I be part of the coaching staff of Barcelona? No, that's not true, "said Hristo, who recall that just days ago claimed in an interview with Bulgarian television chain 'bTV' it was negotiating with the club joining the club.
