A book traces the history of Cruyff through their best 150 words

Dutch Journalist Edwin Winkels, based in Barcelona since the early nineties, today presented his book "Listening to Cruyff. His life and football in 150 words" (Cossetània), which reviews the best quotes of former coach FC Barcelona and now coach of Catalonia

The book, published in Catalan and Castilian, aims to collect in 150 words the sporting career which is still an icon for most fans of FC Barcelona, but also for the Dutch, not in vain his career as a player picked up his greatest achievements dressed in the shirt of Ajax. Winkels explained that the book was written without the help of Johan Cruyff, who was aware of the publication and only intervened to choose the cover photo, by Jordi Cotroneo, which appears Dutch smiling in a recent portrait next to a ball from the early twentieth century.

The book includes the famous Cruyff sentences, some of whom were born in the literal translation into Spanish of those Dutch, and simple errors of former Barca coach, as recalled Winkels, but have become famous. Some of them, Cruyff statement: "I never make mistakes because I find it very wrong", "If we have the ball, they can not make any goals" or "If you have the ball, no need to defend because there is only one ball ". Winkels stated that Cruyff, who boasts of speaking languages, talks like a bad Spanish and Dutch, but has praised the thought of his countryman to remember that what we signed in the sixties" what continues to defend now ".
