FC Barcelona are set for a hectic schedule in October as the Copa del Rey campaign begins to add to the league and Champions League fixtures that Pep Guardiola's team have lined up.
The start of the month has seen the majority of the squad jet off to join up with their countries' for a host of international matches after the Mallorca game and they will return to the Ciutat Contal with very little to rest between matches as the calendar continues to place demands on them. Three league games remain before the end of October while one domestic cup and one European outing also have to be included.

Of the three games in la Primera the meetings with Valencia and Sevilla will take place in Camp Nou while the third is in La Romareda against Real Zaragoza. After the results of the first few league matches Barça will be aiming to ensure that no more points slip through their grasp. Last term the team won all three corresponding league fixtures.
King’s day
On October 26/27, a date has yet to be decided, Barça travel to the Alfonso Murube stadium to take on Ceuta in the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie. It will be the Catalan side's first outing in the cup this term and the aim is certainly to win the trophy that they lifted two years ago in the incredible treble-winning campaign.
Champions League
October also sees one Champions League game to be played as FC Copenhagen visit Camp Nou on October 20 in the third matchday of the continental competition.
