Daniel Alves, Seydou Keita and Adriano will be facing old friends when Sevilla visit Camp Nou to take on FC Barcelona this Saturday as the Catalan outfit return to league action.
The trio of Barça stars will face their former club when the Andalucian team travel north to play the ninth game of the Primera campaign, but they have all already faced Sevilla this term. Pep Guardiola's team met last season's Copa del Rey winners in the Spanish Super Cup in August when the teams played two legs to determine who would lift the first prize of the new year.
Alves
Alves has played in all four of Barça's league meetings with Sevilla since he made the switch from the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán to Camp Nou in 2008. He made his first appearance against his ex club on November 29, 2008 and played the entire 90 minutes as Barça recorded a convincing 0-3 away win at the start of a run that saw the team play Sevilla, Valencia, Real Madrid and then Villarreal.
Since then Alves has played and completed all three of the meetings between the sides with the Blaugrana win all of them while scored 13 goals and conceding just two.
Keita
Keita has a similar record to the Brazilian, but he has played in one game less after missing the match in Camp Nou on January 16, 2010 as he was away with Mali at the African Cup of Nations. The Blaurgana won that encounter 4-0, but he appeared in the other three matches since joining Barça in 2008 also.
Adriano
Adriano is the only former Sevilla star that is set to make his league debut against the team he left in the summer although he knows what it feels like to line up against the team in white and red. In August the Brazilian appeared in both legs of the Spanish Super Cup as he went on for the last ten minutes in the Sánchez Pizjuán in place of Gaby Milito and then played out the last there minutes in Camp Nou when replacing Xavi.
