Mascherano: "I would like to see Torres at the club"

Javier Mascherano, FC Barcelona midfielder has spoken to 'The Sun' and commented among other things that you would like Torres signed for Barça

"Torres is so good that I could play at any club. I would like to see him at Barca but I do not know if it's possible," said Javier Mascherano in an interview published Saturday in The Sun. The Argentine midfielder has stated that "Liverpool fans love him so much and he loves them as if it was not possible to leave the club."


In the interview he also says why he left the English club and ascribes blame the former management of the club: "The Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United were spending a lot of money, Liverpool could not because he had no money" .

'The situation was very clear to me. When you want to strive for great things, titles ... you have to have a great team to win, "said Mascherano.
