Jeffren: “We’ll keep fighting for titles”

Barça winger, Jeffren Suárez, wants to put the joy of beating Madrid 5-0 behind him, and to turn attention to Osasuna as the quest for titles continues in earnest.

“We have to think about the next match because it’s very important”, said Jeffren on Tuesday. The Venezuelan is obviously enjoying the aftermath of the win against Real Madrid (5-0) but “we have had a little chat with Pep and he has insisted that the Madrid match belongs to the past”.

History will recognise the best

Jeffren says “we have to let the years go by and then we’ll see whose best … we’ll just keep fighting to see if we can win more titles … This team is anxious to win and there could be better performances to come”.

Happy with 5-0

Asked about the fifth goal against Barça, his own doing, Jeffren said “it was moment of happiness … Now all I can do is carry on working … It is hard to break into this team that has the best players in the world”.

Tricky Osasuna

It will be a good game”.

Optimistic about Messi
Jeffren is hoping Leo Messi will be in Pamplona, although on Thursday he did not train with the team after the infamous tackle from Sergio Ramos towards the end of the clásico. “Leo is fine, his got a few problems, but we hope he’ll be able to train with us tomorrow”.
