Guardiola’s squad begin their preparation for Tuesday’s Champions League game on Monday morning, with the weekend’s league game against Real Sociedad on Sunday closing the week.

With the Christmas break coming up, Barça have a busy week of Champions League and La Liga action with the visits of Rubin Kazan on Tuesday and Real Sociedad on Sunday. The squad will have a total of six training sessions to prepare for the games.

Monday preparation for Champions
After the break on Sunday, the squad are due back for training at the Ciutat Esportiva, rather than at the Nou Camp as is usual. The usual pre-match press conferences with Pep Guardiola and Eric Abidal will take place in the Nou Camp Press Room at 19.15 in the evening.

Overnight stay in hotel
The players will meet up again at 20.30 on Monday before moving to the hotel where they will stay overnight with a gentle training session scheduled for Tuesday at the Nou Camp ahead of the 20.45 kick off.

Break on Thursday
The players will be back at the Ciutat Esportiva at 11.00 on Wednesday for a warm down with a holiday on Thursday ahead of the preparations for the Real Sociedad game.

Three sessions ahead of Real game
Guardiola will then have three days to prepare for the match against Real, with the players due for training at 11.00 on Friday and Saturday at the Ciutat Esportiva, with the final session at the Nou Camp on Sunday at 11.30 ahead of the 21.00 kick off.
